The Atoka Wampus Cats look to inch closer to tying the Boggy Bottom Bowl series this week as Coalgate travels to Atoka this Friday, Sept. 12 for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The game will be the 113th meeting between the two schools, Coalgate leads the series 57-55.
Atoka hopes to avenge last year's 42-7 loss at Coalgate and bring the Boggy Bottom Trophy back to Atoka.
Both teams are in search of their first win of the season as Atoka suffered a 42-6 loss to Ringling and Coalgate is currently 0-2 on the young season. Coalgate lost 3212 to Antlers in their last game.
