City of Atoka officials, members of the Atoka Music, Arts & Entertainment Coalition (Another 48 Hours Coalition), and the Atoka County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ribbon-cutting for the new Downtown Stage in the Green Space on Friday, September 5th. The stage, which represents a new chapter for live music and community events in Atoka, was made possible by the City of Atoka. Performer Jakus White took the stage for a little test drive by providing some light entertainment after the ribbon cutting. It will be officially broken in during the 'Another 48 Hours Music Festival' on November 1st. Times staff photo by Miranda Donihoo.
