The Class 2A #7 Tushka Lady Tigers are set to host the Class 2A #10 Howe Lady Lions in a Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) Super Regional Tournament Thursday, Oct. 2 - Friday, Oct. 3. The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to the Class 2A state tournament Oct. 9 -11. At press time, the times for the Howe-Tushka super regional had not been announced for the tournament.
Tushka advanced to the super regional tournament by allowing no runs on their way to winning an Class 2A Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Regional Tournament on Sept. 26. In Tushka's three games, the Lady Tigers defeated Colbert 10-0, Dibble 10-0 and 9-0 in the championship game.
To open the regional tournament, Brinlee Anderson and London Reeves both went 3 for 3 at the plate. In the five-inning run-rule victory London Eden threw a complete game allowing 2 hits, 1 base on balls and threw 4 strikeouts. As a team, the Lady Tigers went 11 for 23 at the plate and only strikeout once while being walked five times.
