Atoka County Library Announces October Classes

The Atoka County Library has a full schedule of educational, crafting, and community support programs planned for October, offering something for all ages and interests at their location at 279 East A Street in Atoka, OK.

October Classes: Science and Stitching On Thursday, October 16, the library will host two unique programs:

• Pumpkin Volcano Science Experiment: Children ages 8 to 14 can get hands-on with science during this spooky good time at 1:00 PM. Participants will explore the science behind what makes a great pumpkin explosion. Call (580) 889-3555 to sign up. “We love doing Halloween activities for our community,” said Library Branch Manager Melissa Walker. “It is a great way to get children excited about subjects like science and other possibilities of learning.”
