Police Link Three to Walmart Projector and Knife Theft

A report of shoplifting from Walmart, on Saturday afternoon, led Atoka Police to recover a stolen projector and other merchandise, resulting in the arrest of one adult and possible charges for two others, including a juvenile.

At approximately 3:15 PM on September 27th, Atoka Police were notified of a theft that had just occurred. Walmart Asset Protection employee Workman reported that a female wearing a pink bonnet and a male in pajamas and a black shirt had stolen a TV projector and fled the scene in a maroon Dodge traveling northbound.

Officer Christian Shomo quickly located the vehicle, which matched the description and had a female wearing a pink bonnet in the back seat. A traffic stop was initiated on Liberty Street.
