The Atoka Public Library is sparkling thanks to the generosity of a local business owner who decided to give back to his hometown.
Steve Lewis, owner of Steve Lewis Mobile Wash Inc., spent the Saturday volunteering his time and equipment to pressure wash the library’s entire front entrance, sidewalks, columns, and benches.
Librarian Melissa Walker discovered the act of kindness after seeing cones blocking the area and a truck on site. 'I decided to check into it and wound up talking to the nicest man,' Walker said. 'The library has never looked better! I can tell you; it was in sad shape.'
