Class 2A #7 Tushka fall baseball (21-8) will play at Yukon High School vs Class 2A #2 Dale (25-3) in the first round of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association State Tournament at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9. The Tigers suffered a 9-6 loss in last year's state semi-final round to Dale.

The winner of Tushka vs Dale will face the winner of #6 Latta (18-8) vs #3 Silo (25-2) in the semi-finals on Friday, Oct. 10 at Yukon High School at 2:30 p.m. The championship game will be conducted at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The Tigers are making their second consecutive state tournament appearance under Head Coach Landon Carper. 'It never gets old going to the state tournament. The feeling of getting to go play in OKC is unexplainable. Some people may think it gets old but for us it's like getting a new toy at Christmas every time,' Carper said.
