A man was arrested for public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol early Saturday morning after police responded to a complaint of yelling coming from behind a local motel.
On October 4th, at approximately 1:30 AM, Sgt. James Riley of the Atoka Police Department responded to the area behind Motel 6 after receiving calls regarding a person drinking behind Pruitt Oil Co. and an intoxicated person yelling.
Upon arrival, the sergeant observed a male, later identified as Michael Duane Raglin, walking on Montana St. who was noticeably very unsteady on his feet. After activating his emergency lights, the male stopped and sat down a grocery sack.
