The Farris Community Center’s second annual Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser on Saturday was a big success, bringing in over $600 between the silent auction and the all-youcan- eat dinner, and significantly boosting community participation.
Organizers were thrilled with the turnout, noting that the number of entries jumped dramatically from just three last year to more than 10 competitors this year.
“I was very impressed with the number of entries this year,” noted the first-place winner, Stephanie Annett.
