Fatal Collision Claims Life of Antlers Woman

A late-night altercation, in the roadway of State Highway 2, resulted in a fatal collision that claimed the life of one Antlers woman and seriously injured another.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:13 PM on Saturday, October 11, north of Antlers in Pushmataha County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Heather Linn-Schutt, 46, and her daughter, Emma Marie Linn, 22, both of Antlers, were involved in a physical fight in the northbound lane of State Highway 2.

While the two women were fighting in the roadway, a northbound 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by Ricardo Velasquez, 30, of Plano, Texas, struck both pedestrians.
