Felony Charges Filed Against Driver in 110 MPH Corvette Pursuit

Charges have now been filed against the reckless driver who attempted to flee from local law enforcement on November 8, 2025.

Josiah Hemby faces two felony charges following a high-speed pursuit that began after he was observed traveling at speeds up to 110 mph in a black Chevrolet Corvette.

The incident began when the Corvette was called in for reckless driving and subsequently pursued by the Tushka Police Department, continuing through Atoka with extremely reckless driving and lane cutting. Hemby attempted to evade officers by turning into the Pilot truck stop, nearly colliding with an Atoka Police unit before briefly reentering U.S. 69.
