The Caney Lady Cougars celebrated

The Caney Lady Cougars celebrated their 2025 Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) Class A Slowpitch State Championship with a ring ceremony on Nov. 20. Players on the team received their championship rings in front of the community during halftime of the boys’ basketball game against Roff. Caney took down Soper 14-6 in the state championship on May 12 to claim their second consecutive state championship. The Lady Cougars defeated Tupelo 9-1 in the quarter finals and Roff 16-9 in the semifinals.
