A Tulsa woman was arrested on the evening of December 12, 2025, after a traffic stop for a minor equipment violation led to the discovery of several legal and safety infractions.
At approximately 9:00 PM, Atoka Police Officer Zachary Rice observed a gray Honda Civic traveling south on U.S. 69 using high-beam headlights within city limits. The officer also noted that the vehicle's tag lights were nonfunctional.
During the stop near Shady Lane, the driver, identified as Tiona Tyri Bowman, explained that she was using her bright lights because her standard headlights were performing poorly.
