Three Arrested Following Reckless Driving Call

A report of a reckless driver on January 3, 2026, led to the discovery of methamphetamine and a concealed firearm during a morning traffic stop on Ridgewood Road.

Atoka Police responded to calls regarding a green Dodge pickup traveling in the center of the road and initiated a stop after observing the vehicle’s cracked windshield and expired 2025 tags.

The driver, Garrett Sublette, was immediately taken into custody after officers confirmed an outstanding warrant for his arrest through the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. While Sublette was arrested on the warrant, the search of the vehicle and the remaining passengers led to more serious allegations.
