Burglars Cut Through Interior Walls to Loot Storage Units

The Atoka Police Department is investigating a burglary at Main Street Storage, located on East Court Street, after a renter discovered their unit lock had been cut and replaced by an unauthorized person.

Officer Trevin Loudermilk arrived at the facility on January 7, 2026, to meet with the renter, Tracy Farrell. After using bolt cutters to remove the unknown lock, the owners discovered that several items had been stolen, including a 40inch television, the accompanying remote, and clothing from a plastic storage bin.

Upon inspecting the unit, investigators found that the suspect did not just cut the exterior lock. A section of the wall in the upper southeastern corner of the unit had been cut out, creating a passage into the neighboring unit, 37.
