Caney Public Schools conducted the 2025-2026 homecoming ceremony on Jan. 15 where Kaigan Ladd was crowned queen and Colby Hodge was crowned king prior to the high school basketball game vs Bennington. The boys played first due to homecoming and suffered a 66-54 loss. The Lady Cougars defeated Bennington 42-30 to move to 12-5 on the season.
