This week there's not much news to report as due to the bad weather most everyone stayed home and off the roads and various activities were cancelled.
However ranchers and cattle owners forged the ice and snow to feed and hay their cows despite the frigid temperatures because basically cattle don't care about the circumstances affecting their owners.
Since I finally had extra hay I put out several more bales than usual in case my tractor didn't start and took off the strings and nettings ahead of time. For those that know there's nothing worse than trying to take the strings and netting off when it's frozen to the hay and it sure doesn't help your fingernails any.
