After a wild weekend of moving the tournament up and cancellations, the Atoka Lady Wampus Cats took home the championship trophy of the Wampus Cat Classic on Jan. 23. On a day (Jan. 23) where inclement weather was on the horizon, the final day of the Wampus Cat Classic featured only two championship games due to teams trying to avoid the weather. The Lady Wampus Cats suffered a first round 3121 loss to Madill on Jan. 21 and received a bye on Jan. 22 prior to winning the championship game over Hugo 39-30.
