A late-night walk for help ended in the Atoka County Jail for a local man after a series of confusing stories and a stuck pickup truck.
At approximately 3:53 A.M. on January 23, 2026, Atoka Police Officers responded to a residence on Ridgewood Road following reports of a suspicious individual knocking on a door.
Officers arrived to find Dylan Moore at the end of the driveway. Moore claimed he had been driving near the Atoka Lake Reservoir spillway when his vehicle became inoperable, forcing him to walk to the residence to find a ride.
