Veteran News

I woke up Sunday morning, sore from extra-curricular activities experienced from the day before and was dreading my morning walk due to this muscle fatigue. It took almost a mile of walking before my sore muscles loosened up and I was able to walk with some semblance of normalcy.

I was able to see some of the wonders of the day and eventually was able to appreciate the dawn of a new day and the birth of a new month as I realize that January 2026 was now gone and February 2026 was now upon me.

I saw a herd of no less than ten deer with an eightpoint buck bounding through a pasture of prairie grass away from me towards the cover of trees and the morning sun. My thoughts were of Cheyenne; his journey towards a new and better life as he seeks help.
