The Atoka Police Department is investigating a burglary at the Fourth Ward Church of Christ, located on S. Indiana, which occurred between the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 30, and the morning of Saturday, Jan. 31.
Officer Trevin Loudermilk responded to the scene at approximately 12:00 p.m. Saturday after Pastor Willard Harrison discovered evidence of a forced entry.
According to the report, the pastor had been at the church Friday afternoon to prepare for Sunday services and found the building secure when he left around 4:30 p.m.
