McGee Valley News

Congratulations go out to our Stringtown Lady Tigers who are steadily working towards breaking a 50 year impasse as they advance to the Area Tournament this weekend in hopes of getting their ticket punched for a playoff berth in the state tournament, a feat which has not been repeated since the 197576 Stringtown Tigerettes won the state quarterfinals and advanced to the state semifinals, 50 years ago.

The Stringtown Lady Tigers captured the District Championship and defeated the Soper Red Bears to claim the Regional Championship title this past weekend.

The Stringtown Lady Tigers will meet up with Turner this week in hopes of clinching the Area Championship and advancing to the state playoffs.
