Frozen Assets: Property Tossed in Pond Leads to Charges

A January domestic dispute involving a 'disposal' of personal property into a frozen pond has led to a criminal charge against an Atoka woman.

On Jan. 27, Atoka Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on West 3rd Street. According to the report from Sgt. James Riley, Stormie Henderson had been staying with her ex-boyfriend, Brody Middleton, to escape a winter storm.

When Middleton informed Henderson it was time for her to leave the residence, an argument reportedly ensued.
