Handgun and Laptop Stolen During Vehicle Break-In

Atoka Police are investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred on the night of Feb. 14, resulting in the theft of a handgun and several personal items.

Officer Trevin Loudermilk responded to a residence on South McClendon Street on the morning of Feb. 15 after the owner, Haden Gass, reported the theft. According to the report, the vehicle had been unlocked since approximately 9:00 p.m. the previous evening.

Upon checking his truck the following morning, Gass discovered that his center console had been rifled through and his backpack was missing.
