A former property manager for Westside Apartments is facing a felony embezzlement charge following an investigation into nearly $28,000 in missing funds.
The investigation began in late January 2025 when the owner of Westside Apartments, Victor Omar Barbosa-Zamago, reported suspected embezzlement to the Atoka Police Department.
According to police reports, Britani Rae Dowling, who served as property manager from December 2022 through October 2024, is alleged to have diverted rent payments for her personal use.
