Our Public Works Department has been updating our firing range, making many improvements out there for our police department to have an excellent place to shoot and train for their yearly qualifications.
They have also been improving several of our lift stations with new electrical panels and new sewer pumps, etc.
On Tuesday, February 24th, I attended the Choctaw Economic Development Technical Summit at Choctaw Landing in Hochatown. Among the many topics discussed were updates on AI now and where it is headed in the future, electricity demands now and plans for future expansion as is needed from OG&E and PSO, natural gas demands now and plans for future expansion as is needed, existing and future needs of municipal water and wastewater facilities, etc.
