The Atoka County Sheriff’s Office is moving forward with the installation of five new Flock Safety cameras following approval from the County Commissioners during last week’s meeting.
The high-tech license plate readers will be strategically placed at five locations throughout the county to assist deputies with suspect searches and missing persons cases.
During the meeting, Sheriff Simpson received permission to install two of the cameras on county easements. The remaining three cameras are being placed on private property with permission of the landowners.
