Fire crews successfully contained a massive 300-acre wildland fire on Halfbank Road yesterday as dangerous weather conditions swept through Atoka County.

The blaze required a coordinated effort from the Harmony, Crystal, and Lane Fire Departments, alongside the Oklahoma State Forestry Department and Atoka County Emergency Management.

According to the Atoka County EMD, the fire was caused by an electrical pole catching fire.
