Six piano students of Malinda Durbin participated on Saturday, March 7 in the annual piano contest for the Federation of Music Clubs at East Central University in Ada.
Each performed two memorized solo pieces for a professional judge and were rated according to their performance on memory, position, dynamics, continuity and correct notes. Each student was given a written evaluation and a certificate from the National Federation of Music Clubs.
Participating students were Peyton Cannon, Briar Bingham, Abby Sandman, Cort Glover, Madeline Jackson and Brinley Wilson.
