Atoka Lake Reservation Association Honors Longtime Supervisor, Reviews Major Pipeline Progress

The Lake Atoka Reservation Association (LARA) convened on March 12, 2026, for a session to address a retirement and receive technical updates on the infrastructure projects connecting Southeast Oklahoma to the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust.

Chairman and Atoka Mayor Brian Cathey presided over the meeting, which included representatives from both municipal jurisdictions, including City Manager Danny Delay and Chief of Police (Assistant City Manager) Gene Dodson.

Mitch Logan Retirement The meeting opened with a resolution of appreciation for Mitch Logan, who will retire on May 7, 2026. Logan’s career spans over 36 years, beginning in 1990 as a facility and plant mechanic. He concludes his tenure as the water supply mechanic supervisor for the Southeast Water Supply Division.
