On April 8th, I attended the monthly Oklahoma Municipal League’s board of directors meeting in Oklahoma City.
Reba came back home on Thursday, April 9th, to put on a one-night concert inside her restaurant. It was free; you just had to enter to win a ticket. However, for everyone else that didn’t win a ticket but wanted to watch, it was live streamed on the new big screen located on the north end of our new stage. Jordan Rainer appeared live on the stage prior to Reba’s concert, singing for about an hour. We had a very good turnout of visitors from several states that came to join us for a relaxing evening of good country music.
On April 10th, we submitted the revised application for an EDA grant to install a new water tower south of town that would give us additional storage capabilities and added pressure in that area and going south.
