An inmate who walked away from the Howard McLeod Correctional Center in Atoka on Friday night was back in custody just hours after his disappearance.
Michael Taylor, 28, was determined to have unlawfully walked away from the facility at approximately 8:21 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
Following the discovery, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) issued an alert for the Rogers County man, who is currently serving a four- year sentence for lewd or indecent acts to a child.
