The Tushka FCCLA chapter made a significant impact at the 80th Annual State Convention on April 2, 2026, with nine members placing in the top three of their respective competitions and six qualifying for the national stage.
Among the top honors, Freshman members Kamri Hauff and Peyton Springer secured a first-place finish in the 'Spotlight on Projects' category for their work on fire safety. Senior Makenzie Hamilton was awarded a $1,500 Oklahoma Alumni and Associates Scholarship to support her upcoming college education.
The convention also featured a standout performance by Tushka’s own Addison Karn, who was selected to sing the National Anthem for the entire Oklahoma State Delegation.
