A Caddo woman faces a misdemeanor count after authorities reportedly found her intoxicated behind the wheel of a running SUV parked at a local cemetery gate.
According to charges filed by the district attorney's office, a Tushka police Officer Lowe responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver on West Main Street in Tushka at approximately 11:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Upon arrival, the officer located a blue Ford Edge parked in front of the cemetery gate with the engine running.
Officer Lowe made contact with the driver, identified as Alisha Haggard, who was seated in the driver's seat. While speaking with Haggard, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noted her eyes were glassy and watery. Haggard reportedly stated she had consumed two alcoholic beverages.
