An Atoka man faces a felony domestic violence allegation after a Sunday afternoon dispute over a trailer light reportedly escalated into a weapon-fueled assault.
According to details filed by the district attorney’s office, an Atoka police officer responded to an active physical domestic disturbance at a trailer park on South Kentucky Street at approximately 4:45 PM on July 12, 2026.
The investigation revealed that the confrontation began inside a small camper when a resident turned on a light to begin her daily tasks while her son, Jackson Daniel Ayers, was asleep. Ayers reportedly became angry, kicked the door, and moved outside.
