Annual Oklahoma Tax-Free Weekend Set for August 7–9

Oklahoma shoppers can score tax savings on back-to-school wardrobes and everyday apparel during the state's annual sales tax holiday next month.

The three-day tax exemption window begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 7, and runs through midnight on Sunday, August 9. During this period, state, county, and local sales taxes will not apply to eligible clothing and footwear purchases.

To qualify for the tax exemption, individual clothing and footwear items must be priced at less than $100. The exemption applies automatically to both in-store and online retail purchases state-wide.
