A 43-year-old Texas man has died following a drowning incident Wednesday evening on Lake Eufaula in McIntosh County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the victim as Brandon M. Shipman of Kilgore, Texas.
According to state troopers, the incident occurred around 8:19 PM on July 29, approximately 1.5 miles east of Eufaula. Shipman was a passenger aboard a westbound 2025 Yamaha ski boat traveling toward Eufaula Cove Marina at approximately 41 miles per hour.
