As high summer temperatures continue to demand heavy physical exertion from local emergency personnel, Stuteville Ford of Atoka stepped up to support area firefighters with a massive donation of bottled drinking water.

Crews with the City of Atoka assisted in transporting the pallets of water directly to the Atoka Fire Station, where firefighters unloaded and staged the supplies for distribution. The Atoka County Fire Chiefs Association organized the effort to ensure the donated water reaches both city crews and rural volunteer departments across the county.

'During the hot summer months, our members go through a tremendous amount of water while serving and protecting our communities,' the Atoka County Fire Chiefs Association shared in a statement expressing gratitude for the local support. 'Your donation provides much-needed support and means so much to our volunteers!'
