Have you felt the cooler weather yet? There have been a couple of days below 100° or at least NOT 110°! Sweater weather will be here before you know it! We could really use a bit of rain! Right? The firefighters would agree with that! They've been fighting fires a bunch!

September 3rd: National Skyscraper Day, U.S. Bowling League Day, and National Baby Back Ribs Day September 4th: National Wildlife Day, National Lazy Mom's Day (give that mom a bit of rest today!), and Eat an Extra Dessert Day September 5th: National Cheese Pizza Day, National Be Late For Something Day, and International Bacon Day IMPORTANT INVITATION!! There will be a community meeting on Thursday, September 3rd at 1:30 p.m. This meeting will take place in the Performing Arts Building of Stringtown Public Schools. If you're not terribly familiar with all of the buildings, you might recognize it as the former site of the Assembly of God Church. (Yep, the sign is still there.) It's a white metal building with a green metal roof. Join the group to learn, preserve, and honor our shared history and lasting legacy.
