Caney Schools Increases Supervision, Partnering for Support Services

Caney Public Schools administration is increasing adult supervision on extracurricular trips and bringing in external support services following an August incident involving students at the Soper baseball field, according to a statement released by Superintendent Lori Delay.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed last Tuesday that the case remains active and open.

'This is still an ongoing investigation at this time,' OSBI Public Information Officer Hunter McKee stated in an email response to the Atoka County Times. 'No updates yet and no arrests. I’ll let you know as soon as we have additional information to share.'
