Livestock associations say increased ICE enforcement is disrupting the beef supply chain and threatening to push prices higher, just a month after the Trump administration moved to boost imports to bring prices down.
The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, along with cattle groups in Kansas and Texas, says recent ICE activity has delayed cattle shipments and strained labor availability across several parts of the beef supply chain.
