Belle Frantz Delivers Gospel Roots and Country Ambition in Atoka

When rising country artist Belle Frantz took the stage at the Downtown Green for the Another 48 Hours Music Festival, it wasn’t just another tour stop on her calendar. It marked her first-ever performance in Oklahoma, and a deeply personal full-circle moment tied directly to the legacy of Atoka’s most famous musical voice.

Long before Frantz, 23, earned a standing ovation during her Grand Ole Opry debut or was hand-selected by Dolly Parton to open her Las Vegas residency, she was a 12-year-old girl in Mississippi grieving the loss of her grandfather. In his CD collection, she discovered Reba McEntire’s The Last One to Know. That single record sparked her lifelong calling to pursue music.
