TUSHKA SLOW PITCH – Wins an Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Class 3A District Championship with a 9-0 win over Talihina on April 22. At the district tournament, the Lady Tigers defeated Talihina 11-1 in the first round. In the opening game of the district tournament, Tushka's Beya Simon threw 2 strikeouts in 4 innings and allowed 2 hits and 2 base on balls. Kylie Webb, Kylie Lee, Kyra Jones and Reegan Reece each had 2 hits. Callie Boren led the team in runs with 3. In the championship, Simon threw 3 strikeouts in 6 innings and allowed 2 hits and 2 base on balls.Simon led the team in hits with 3. Brinlee Anderson had 2 hits. In the game, Head Coach Logan Brown gave 17 players the opportunity to have an at bat.
