Welcome to May! School will soon be out for the summer. Camp will begin. The kids are sure looking forward to summer! And, the teachers are just as excited for summer break! Remember that kids may be playing near streets, so be extra careful and watch out for them!

Happy Birthday to David and Dionna (Beth's kids) this month! Nope, they're not little kids anymore, but they're always your kids, right?

Here are some holidays to get you going this week!

The entire month of May, we'll celebrate National Hamburger Month, American Cheese Month, Date Your Mate Month, and Military Appreciation Month.

Sunday afternoon, several folks got together for visitation in the community.

Ray and Beth spent some time in OKC for Rumble @ Devon Park -- 10U. The games on Friday went smoothly, but rain caused cancelation of games on Saturday. However, Sunday's games proceeded as planned. It was a great tournament, even if it was a bit shorter than planned! Congratulations to Tournament Champs, Athletics Walde! 2nd place was Gametime x4 Gold. Congratulations to all teams who participated!

Church camp is coming! Pray for God's leadership with these kids. And pray for the sponsors who will help guide them. If you want to help, contact the church office for information on how you can help.

It may be a scholarship for one of the kids who WANTS to go, but can't afford it. It may be donating food (those kids can EAT a lot!). It may be going with the group and being a sponsor. Pray about what God would have you to do.

Please continue to pray for those you know. There are many who would appreciate your prayers! Pray for upcoming Mission Trips, those who are ill, families who are hurting, leaders, and personal requests.
