Harmony Public School is notifying former students from 2018 or earlier about the upcoming destruction of certain student records.
According to Public Law 94-142, the school will permanently destroy confidential Special Education and 504 records that are over six years old and no longer needed for educational services, unless a request is made by the parents or the student (if he/she is 18 years of age or older).
The records to be destroyed pertain to individuals whose last year of attendance at Harmony Public School was 2018 or earlier. The destruction will occur within 60 days, with a deadline of July 31, 2025.
