In case you missed the News last week, let's get the names of Stringtown graduates in the paper one more time. Congratulations to these Stringtown graduates! These kids will graduate on May 12th! Be sure and get that date on your calendar!

Sunday at FBC Stringtown started off with recognition of 2 birthday folks. Happy Birthday to Amanda White and Kyle Walker.

Happy Anniversary to Lewis and Ame Layton (27 years!) and Jason and Jennifer Williams (2 years).

The Sunday service began with an update from Oh Yeah! Missions. Brad Tisdale, Louie Layton, and Dewey Rember went to Dallas for a Men's meeting. They had rain all the way, but had sunshine on Saturday. They made several contacts and led one person to The Lord. Upcoming mission trips include Ghana and also back to Memphis. Remember to pray for the people who GO on the trips AND those who they interact with during the trips. Pray for God's leadership.

Last week Daniel and Amanda did outreach in Caddo. They had great responses. The next outreach will be on Sunday in Coalgate.

Bro. Scott Ridgway preached from Acts 7:54-60: The moment God's servant Stephen was executed. Bro. Scott led the congregation as they looked into the clear picture of the Peace of Heaven that Stephen had vs the anger and fury that dominated the religious leaders who executed him. As Christians, we should be given over to the fruit of the Spirit, not the flesh.

The men will be meeting for breakfast on the 10th of May at Stringtown FBC. There will be plenty of food. Bro. Loyd Thompson will deliver The Word. It'll be a great time of worship and fellowship!

Ken's son and fiancée were in church Sunday while visiting Ken and Ginger. That was great!

Several folks are getting over illnesses and getting back to church. It's good to have them back! Patsy is getting better. Her blood work is showing improvement!

Claude and Denise had a great trip! Ask them about it!

Camp is coming up soon! KBA is first, right? Sponsors are needed. Help with finances would be appreciated also -- scholarships for kids, and food donations are needed. Falls Creek will be here before you know it! Remember to pray!

Beth and Ray were in OKC again last week. This time it was for the Rumble @ Devon Park 8U. These young ladies were so excited to play at 'The Big Stadium'! The winner of the tournament was Waco Heat. The weather was beautiful all weekend! On Friday morning in Stringtown it didn't look as if we'd be playing softball! But, the afternoon in OKC was gorgeous!

Now, you might wonder where all the stuff ends up that people have lost during a tournament. Well, these Rumble tournaments had the 'lost and found' in the ticket booth where Beth was working. What kinds of things were lost? A shoe -- not a PAIR of shoes, just a single shoe. A glove, a mask, a couple of bats, numerous water bottles, a few umbrellas, sweatshirts, jackets, a pair of pants, car keys, etc! Luckily, all of the owners found their car keys before Beth left for the night! Some stuff was returned to owners, but there was a big box of stuff left over! So, Beth handed it over to Robert. Now it's HIS problem!

Again, thanks to the staff running the tournament. Carolyn Shafer, Robert Shafer, Shane Huck, and Nic Bailey. Tournament UIC was David Anderson. Thanks! Y'all did a great job!

Please pray for Helen's grandson who is in the hospital. Remember our leaders -- local, state, and national. Remember our church leaders -- Bro. Scott Ridgway for one, and leaders of churches around our community. Again, our missionaries always need our prayers.
