Students Display Musical Talent at Spring Piano Recital

The 2025 Spring Piano Recital, featuring a program of diverse musical selections, was held on Monday, May 5th, at 7:00 P.M. at the Atoka First Methodist Church. The recital showcased the talents of students under the instruction of Malinda Durbin.

The program featured a variety of pieces, including classical works and contemporary tunes. Abby Sandman performed 'Poppo Porpoise' and 'Saturday Morning Boogie,' while Cort Glover played 'Over The Rainbow' and 'Amazing Grace'. Briar Bingham presented 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' and 'Hot Salsa!'.

Other student performers included Madeline Jackson, Brinley Wilson, Layla Henderson, Tristan Eaves, Falyn Eaves, and Cloey Sanders, who played selections such as 'Toccatina Twister,' 'Fur Elise,' 'You Say,' 'Stay,' 'Hotel California,' 'Rhythm Machine,' 'Golden Hour,' 'Beehive,' 'Basically Blue,' 'Beach Party,' 'Evening Guitars,' 'Ocean Waves,' and 'Cat Walk'.

During the recital, Tristan Eaves and Brinley Wilson were recognized and presented with trophies.

A reception followed the performances.
