The roar of the crowd might have been virtual, but the victory is undeniably real! For the second year running, the Atoka High School ShadowCats have once again proven their dominance in the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports (OKSE) Overwatch State Championship, bringing home the coveted hardware.
This remarkable achievement marks an astounding five State Championships in the past three years for the Atoka esports program, firmly cementing their status as a powerhouse in the Oklahoma scholastic esports scene. The dedication, teamwork, and skill of these young competitors have shone brightly, culminating in this well-deserved victory.
But the excitement doesn't end with the state title. The victorious ShadowCats have also received an invitation to Dream-Hack in Texas at the end of May. This prestigious event will provide them with the opportunity to test their mettle against the best Overwatch teams in Texas in what's being dubbed the 'Red River showdown.'
