Man Arrested for Trespassing After Repeated Warnings

On May 17, 2025, a man was arrested by the Atoka Police Department for trespassing after allegedly attempting to force entry into a residence he had been previously warned to avoid.

According to a police report, at approximately 4:35 PM, Officer Christian Shomo responded to a call from a residence on S. Montana Street regarding Michael Larson attempting to force entry by kicking the door.

Upon arrival, Officer Shomo observed Larson on the front porch appearing to tamper with items. Larson was detained and secured. The homeowner reported that Larson had been knocking and then pushing against the door in an attempt to open it.

The report notes that Larson had received multiple prior warnings from various officers not to be on the property at 1153 S. Montana Street. A formal trespass notice had been issued to him by Officer Zachary Rice on April 30, 2025. He had also been advised earlier the same day that he was not permitted on the property during an unrelated accident.

Larson was arrested for trespassing and transported to the Atoka County Jail without further incident.
