The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Henry Tyler Allen, age 35, of Durant, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 77 months in prison for one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm.
The charge arose from investigations by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Durant Police Department.
On January 7, 2025, Allen pleaded guilty to the charge. According to investigators, on September 24, 2024, officers discovered Allen in possession of a 9mm semiautomatic pistol after having been convicted of crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.
